The Capture of the Gipsey SCHOONER New York on the 30th of April 1812 by H.M. Ships Hermese and Belle Poule in the Middle of the Atlantic Ocean after a chase of three days and nights, she was bound from New York to Bordeaux with a Cargo Value of 50,000 L, a Crew of Eighty Men, and supposed to be a Privateer, being fully armed and Equipped.
