This engraving, although it was done in the 1830s, shows the commanding position the Continental Army had after it occupied Dorchester Heights on March 4, 1776. This illustration was published posthumously after Bartlett’s death in History of the United States, Vol. I, 1856. from a print in the collection of Pentacle Press LLC
